Noah’s birthday cake
I found out that Tom’s podcast partner, Dina, loves to plan birthdays and make cakes. So I decided to ask her for some help. I was initially thinking that I could make a cake in the shape of a car. Dina quickly brought me to reality - she suggested making a rectangular cake, then drawing a car on it. She also pointed me to this website to get some other ideas. Over there, I found this cake and asked Dina what she thought of that idea. The only modification that I made were to use green icing instead of the green sprinkles (flat on the sides and grass tip on top) and white icing instead of the white Goold & Plenties. And I think I pulled it off! I got a lot of compliments on it. The hardest part of it was the kids needing my attention while I was making the cake. Tom was out-of-town the day I was decorating it, but thankfully, my parents came up to help me out that day.
