We’re BACK!
OK, so the website went down. I can only blame (thank) Camoosta for that. Their added traffic caused us to use up our monthly bandwidth in about 3 weeks. That’s a good thing. Going down isn’t. We’ve changed the way we stream our Podcasts (which is the major cause for our lack of bandwidth) so this will never happen again. Sorry for the inconvenience. I have a Podcast to post for today that I’ll try to get edited and posted ASAP.

Good to be back. Yeah, I knew our listenership was increasing but we went from 80% used bandwidth to 98% to 100% in about a day. I was shocked. The real issue was that we have a friend that is hosting this site for basically free and providing a limited amount of bandwidth. Now, all that “free” bandwidth will be used for hosting the site (and some of the back episodes) and we’re paying Libsyn to house and stream the podcasts. Libsyn has upload limits (the amount of data you can upload a month) but no bandwidth limits. So bring those new listeners on.
And congrats on the new child.
Ok, funny thing is, the site went down again. But it wasn’t because of a bandwidth thing this time. It some sort of host problem which knocked about 1000 websites off the net at the same time. Still, let me amend my previous statement to read “so this will probably never happen again”
