The stuff that comes out of these kids mouths…
I’m going to keep this as a running post going as a way to document the crazy, and often hilarious, things that my kids say.
It’s 8:30am on a Sunday and I hear my daughter start to cry/scream in my son’s room. I go inside and he quickly admits that he has “hit her in the belly” because she was playing with a toy of his, and he didn’t like it. Here’s the following conversation:
Me: What should you do now?
4 1/2 year old: Say I’m sorry.
Me: That’s right. And what should I do to you?
4 1/2 year old: I don’t want a spanking.
Me: I didn’t ask you what you didn’t want. What should I do?
4 1/2 year old: Make me breakfast.
