OFM #170: Dinner is Private Time
Our Iron Chef is dead because of some jerk named Shane. The kids are discussing creation theories. Who’s still cranky? Pat and Theresa are now eating with the kids, grudgingly. It’s tough to be a baby, ask Neo. A quick stroller and crib discussion. The Andry’s are now fishing. Pat’s Lent progress. Thanks for listening and don’t forget to vote for us on Podcast Alley. We’ve definitely had to move up our dinner time because of the kids. We used to eat closer to 7pm. Now we’re usually done by 5:45.
Like I said before the podcasts have been great. I can’t wait for this weeks. But I need a good tahini recipe! I just use it to make hummus and since my hubby is overseas I only make a little at a time. Do you have any good tahini recipes?!
Now that our kids are both in school with activities, etc., they’ve become more flexible about what time they need to eat dinner. Our dinner hour has actually gotten a little later in the past year or so – anywhere from 6:15 – 7:30, depending on what we’re doing.
Sorry – I’m the last podcaster to know about tahini recipes, though
I’ll have to defer to Tom/Pat on that one!

Hi, We also don’t really eat dinner with the kids (14mths and 3.5) because they have it at around 5:00pm and Bob doesn’t get home from work until after six. We have our dinner after the kids are in bed around 7:30. Bob or I do have breakfast with them and I have lunch with them.
