OFM #171: Old Women and Dirty Carpets
We’re back, minus the Andry’s. We’re late, thanks to Pat. Fish hooks and knives. Our kids have issues, grandmas do too. Pink eye sucks. We’re taking bets on how often the Andry’s get their carpet cleaned. Thanks for listening and don’t forget to vote for us on Podcast Alley. Thanks – it is a tough thing, especially since we’ve always been close. Thanks for the carpet cleaning ideas!
My daughter is doing great – she’s been playing around with the keyboard, but she’s taking violin lessons and is doing really well. She has a “travel team” concert tomorrow at an assisted living facility – it’s very cool to see the kids so confident – I always had serious recital anxiety as a kid.
We had a great time camping over Easter – I think there’s one more pre-Easter podcast to be posted – BIG NEWS coming! And then this weekend we’ll podcast about camping – Pat and Tom’s night fishing excursions, etc.
Podcasting is definitely a little weird at times – probably you can tell that I am not the funny one of the group
But its an interesting challenge that gets us out of our comfort zone – its good to have that when we spend so much time trying to motivate the kids to get out of their comfort zones!

Better late than never right?! Double podcasts this week to make up or it… Right?
Sorry about your grandma. Mines going into a nursing home right now too, it’s no fun.
As far as the carpets go I like to clean mine a couple times a year too but could never afford a professtional twice a year. We borrow a friends steam cleaner and do it ourselves. Saves a lot of money. You can also rent Rug Doctor brand from most grocery stores. Just an idea to help stick to that budget!
How’s your daughter doing with her piano?
Hope you had a great Easter! Oh and hope pat didn’t get too wasted!
Is it ever weird to you that you share your lives with anyone that’ll listen?
