About Theresa

The Andrys are sneaky. First they talk nice about you on their podcasts, call you things like their oldest friend. Then, slowly, the embarrassing stories start to come out. Rarely named, you can’t take offense. So you’re left with a reticent laugh, knowing that really, after all these years, really, it is funny. Somehow drawn in, you feel like you are a part of this whole thing, even though you aren’t doing anything. Then one little guest appearance comes and goes. One foolish listener suggests more guest interactions. Before you know it, you’re being recruited. “Why don’t you write an article for the site?” Sure… Why not? What else does she have to do?

Theresa is a librarian, a wife, and a mother of two children, a large, crazy dog, and an old, ornery cat. Born and raised near the beach in Florida, Theresa obtained her B.A. in English literature from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and a M.L.S. (Master’s in Library Science) from University of Maryland at College Park. So guess what? She knows big words and uses them correctly, like denouement, which her husband thought was pronounced “de-now-ment.” She has worked in all kinds of libraries, including a children’s library. She currently works in a government library, but unfortunately does not know where Hoffa is buried. In her free time (LOL), she is an Adjunct Librarian for a college/public library.

She loves to read (shocker!), and loves going to the beach. The kids carry their own stuff :)
